Responding to Identified Risks
As a concrete response to identified critical human rights risks, our group has established a human rights due diligence framework and is promoting efforts to prevent risks and mitigate negative impacts. We are working to implement regular assessments and establish a system for taking corrective actions, and in the event that a negative impact on human rights occurs or is found to have occurred, we are working to establish a system to ensure appropriate remedy and corrective measures and access to complaint handling mechanisms (such as internal whistleblowing systems). We are also working to integrate this with our existing company-wide risk management program and to establish a system for comprehensive management and supervision.
Human Rights Initiatives
Holding of a human rights DVD screening
As part of our efforts to raise employee awareness of human rights, our group held DVD screenings in August and December 2025.
With the aim of learning the latest information and topics through video materials in a relaxed and easygoing manner, we screened short dramas on unconscious bias and tips for improving workplace communication.
Establishment of a "Checklist for Expression and Notation"
Our group has created a "Representation and Notation Checklist" to review content produced and distributed within the group from the perspective of respecting human rights.
This list compiles recommended language, image and illustration usage, and other guidelines published by government agencies, local authorities, and relevant organizations, in order to ensure that information is disseminated in a way that everyone can understand with confidence.
Furthermore, in order to make the most of this list, we held study sessions focusing on the main departments that disseminate information.
