In October 2022, following the milestone of our 50th anniversary, MIRARTH HOLDINGS transitioned to a holding company structure and embarked on a new chapter as MIRARTH HOLDINGS Inc. The new company nameーa fusion of Mirai (Future) and Earthーembodies our commitment to becoming a "Future Environment Design Company." Building on the expertise we've cultivated in home building, we are now stepping beyond the traditional scope of real estate development. With a broader vision, we aim to shape a happier and more sustainable future for both people and the planet.
This commitment is expressed in our Group purpose: "To design sustainable environments for a happier future for both people and our planet." This Purpose carries forward the spirit of Takara Leben's long-standing Vision, "THINK HAPINESS AND MAKE THE HAPINESS," and its Mission, "Creating Together." It now serves as the guiding principle for the entire our Group. It reflects our Group's role in society, not only in enhancing quality of life, but also in fulfilling our responsibilities to the environment, local communities, and future generations.
As social issues such as climate change, energy challenges, demographic shifts, and regional disparities become increasingly complex and severe, businesses today are expected to operate with a more integrated approach that balances environmental, social, and economic priorities. In response, we are taking a hard look at our role in society and will continue to pursue a corporate identity that is truly aligned with our Purpose.
Embracing the Challenge of New Value Creation
The Real Estate Business remains our Group's core focus, with operations centered on the nationwide development of new built-for-sale condominiums. In recent years, our Group expanded beyond real estate into a wider range of sectors, including the Asset Management Business, where we manage financial investment strategies, as well as the hospitality sector through hotel operations.
Among these new ventures, the Energy Business is a key area of focus, particularly in renewable energy such as solar, wind, and biomass power generation. These initiatives are positioned as efforts to create shared value for both local communities and the global environment, and ambitions are extending beyond Japan. In February 2024, we launched a biomass fuel project in Cambodia that utilizes cashew nut shells as an energy source. This initiative contributes not only to sustainable energy supply, but also supports local job creation, industrial development, and the advancement of a circular economy.
At the heart of our diverse business pursuits lies our long-term vision for 2030: "Be the Takara of the community." This message reflects our sincere aspiration to be a meaningful and valued presence in every region we serve. Across all our businesses, one principle remains constant—our unwavering commitment to "Designing a Happier Future for Both People and the Planet." Guided by this purpose, we continue to engage closely with the challenges and needs of local communities. Through our businesses, we aim to deliver value that goes beyond homes and city-building, striving to become a company truly chosen and relied upon by society.
