"L.Biz Matsuyama Ichibancho" Obtains ZEB Ready and BELS Certification - Receives the Highest Ranking of "6 Stars" -

MIRARTH HOLDINGS, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Shimada Kazuichi) and its group company Takara Leben Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Shoichi Akizawa) are developing the office building series "L.Biz". In this series, "L.Biz Matsuyama Ichibancho" (Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture), which is scheduled to be completed in December 2025, has obtained the "ZEB Ready" certification, which is given to buildings with excellent environmental performance. In addition, we would like to inform you that we have obtained a rating of "6 stars", which is the highest rank of the energy-saving performance labeling system "BELS".

What is the office building series "L.Biz"?

Takara Leben is developing its main brand "LEBEN" throughout the country, which has thought through the "life = Leben" of the residents in the New built-for-sale condominium business.
We are developing the office building series "L.Biz" that utilizes its know-how in home creation in office buildings and creates success in business spaces where corporate leaders choose and gather. As a compact building with a different market from large-scale buildings, we are developing properties that are expected to operate stably mainly in the city center, such as around Tokyo Station. It can respond to a wide range of needs, including demand for single-use buildings and office demand from medium-sized and small companies, and achieves stability that is not greatly affected by the external environment such as economic trends and changes in work styles.
"L.Biz Matsuyama Ichibancho" is designed and constructed by Toda Corporation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chu Representative Director o-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director President: Kiyosuke Otani) and is the first property in the Chu-Shikoku area in the "L.Biz" series, with commercial tenants on the 1st floor and office tenants on the 2nd~14th floors.

What is "BELS"?

BELS (Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System) is an evaluation and labeling system specializing in energy-saving performance. BELS rating organizations evaluate buildings based on their primary energy consumption and display their energy-saving performance. This property has been awarded the highest rating of 6 stars.

Points evaluated

As an advanced building with an eye on ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building), this property has obtained the "ZEB Ready" certification, which is a building with high insulation of the outer skin and highly efficient energy-saving equipment. As an effort to improve the high insulation of the building skin, we plan to reduce the air conditioning load by using stronger insulation materials and double-glazing (Low-e glass) compared to general buildings. In addition, the indoor air conditioning unit is equipped with a human and floor temperature detection function to improve efficiency and energy saving, and by adopting a total heat exchanger with a CO₂ sensor and LED lighting fixtures (with dimming control motion sensors), we have achieved a 59% reduction rate of energy excluding renewable energy.
The Group has identified "Promoting the stable supply and use of renewable energy" as a materiality (material issue) and has set a target of "Acquisition of environmental performance certification: 5 buildings" for FY2025. We will continue to promote Acquisition of environmental performance certification, including "BELS" certification, in the properties we supply.

What is "ZEB"?

"Zeb" is an abbreviation for Net Zero Energy Building. This building aims to achieve a zero annual balance of primary energy consumption while providing a comfortable indoor environment.
Because people are active inside buildings, it is not possible to reduce energy consumption to completely zero, but by reducing the energy used through energy conservation and generating the equivalent energy through energy generation, it is possible to reduce energy consumption to zero on a net basis.
