MIRARTH HOLDINGS Group's cashew business
Since February 2024, the MIRARTH Holdings Group has been engaged in the Cambodian cashew nut processing industry and research in biomass fuel projects using cashew nut shells. In June of the same year, MIRARTH Agri Tech's cashew nuts won an Honorable Mention at the Cashew Nuts Outstanding Processors Competition in 2024, a competition in which cashew nut farmers and processors across Cambodia compete against each other to determine the quality and production capacity of their local cashew nut production. In November, the group signed a shipping contract with Netherlands-based Nuts2 B.V., marking the first export of Cambodian cashew nuts to Europe.
In July 2025, during the “Cambodia National Day” at the Osaka-Kansai Expo (Japan World Exposition), we held a signing ceremony for a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce regarding the cashew nut business, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a Japanese sales company, signing a sales agreement to promote the cashew nut business.
The courtesy visit
During the courtesy visit, CEO Taniguchi of MIRARTH Green Tech reported on the sales of cashew nuts in Japan and exports to Europe. In addition, various ideas were exchanged, including the continued development of cashew nut processing facilities in the Kingdom of Cambodia and future business prospects, with valuable discussions aiming for a stronger collaboration between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the MIRARTH Holdings Group.

Minister H.E. CHAM Nimul said, "I am very pleased to have the opportunity to speak with key stakeholders today. I have heard that the factory in Kampong Thom is a very wonderful environment. I have also heard about future expansion plans and look forward to visiting the site. Cashews nuts can also be seasoned so many more people might take interest in it. In addition, we can develop a variety of other products, not only food products. We would also like to expand into the Middle East and other countries around the world. I believe your company's export successes to Europe are very meaningful. I am also pleased that you are advancing research in the field of renewable energy and biomass fuels. In the future, we hope that we will expand production by utilizing the expertise and technology from Japan, and realize a 360-degree initiative to make full use of everything from cashew trees, branches, leaves, and even bark. Therefore, please feel free to let us know of anything we can do to support you as the Ministry of Commerce. We look forward to working as a partner for further expansion."
CEO Taniguchi of MIRARTH Green Tech expressed with enthusiasm, "Thanks to the cooperation of the people of Cambodia, we have been able to sell Cambodian cashews at FamilyMart, one of the largest convenience store chains in Japan. We hope that as a result, the image of Cambodian cashews as being large-sized and delicious will spread in Japan. In addition, with the expansion of our production system, we have been consistently shipping two containers containing 30 tons of cashew nuts per month. We will continue to expand production and strive to supply more cashews to the global market. We want to contribute to the growth of the Kingdom of Cambodia's GDP by promoting job creation in Cambodia, creating a future where young people would want to stay in Cambodia and seek work, and improving the status of farmers through the improvement of agricultural technology. In order to achieve this purpose of the MIRARTH Holdings Group, we will work to expand our business in Cambodia."
Marked by this courtesy visit, we will further strengthen our collaboration with the Kingdom of Cambodia, contribute to the promotion of employment and economic development in the Kingdom of Cambodia, and work to promote the cashew nut industry.
Cashew nuts by MIRARTH Green Tech are now available at FamilyMarts across Japan
Following the signing of an LOI with the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia on July 5th and an MOU with a Japanese sales company, Cambodian cashew nuts manufactured by MIRARTH Green Tech began sales at FamilyMart stores across Japan from August 27th. The product uses specially selected large cashew nuts and is characterized by its milky taste and smooth texture unique to Cambodian products. We hope you’ll give it a try as well.
